T72-BM
Chechenya, 1996
A T72 B with K-5 ERA (or T72 BM, still there is a doubt)captured by Chechen rebels and used against it former users. It was damaged, and all the pictures show it with the turret oriented backward, likely blocked in this position.
It was pictured in August 1996 in grozny.
The base is the Revell 7 T2 with some pieces originating from the T90 from the latest mentionned manufacturer. The T-90 kit front hull was modified, to back date it to the T2 B standart, and the entrenching blade had to be removed.
The anti radiation layer has been on the part that are not visible on the T-90 kit, because supposedly hided by storage boxes or equipments. The guner sight has been back taded to T72-B standart. The mudguards has been damaged, and some of the storage boxes removed
